February’s Awesome Award is presented to Karla Readshaw, our Business Development Manager.
Karla joined Iridescent almost two years ago, and since then has been crafting grant proposals, helping develop new partnerships and manage existing partnerships, and supporting our donor communities. Over the past few months Karla has gone above and beyond in fundraising initiatives and with our annual giving campaign.
Karla constantly improves her fundraising initiatives by asking for feedback on the best ways to position the org and then incorporating those in her decks. I have seen her become more confident, collaborative and enthusiastic over her wins with the team!
Karla is inspiring in how she epitomizes Iridescent’s core values – courage, curiosity, perseverance. I am so proud to work alongside her!
Karla is instrumental in building a fundraising process that coordinates with the program teams and has resulted in a winning approach to proposal writing. Since the start of the year, she has been a master juggler managing multiple projects across programs.
