Parent Curiosity Club
“I would like to support parents as they explore science and engineering with their children at meetup groups in my local community”
Description: Connect with parents in your community as they use Curiosity Machine to enrich their children’s out-of-school time learning. Develop a relationship with a family and support their exploration of science, engineering, and technology at-home.
Time Commitment:
- 1 hour training event with colleagues
- 3-week Curiosity Club virtual mentoring (flexible, 1 hour a week)
Example: WABS Natural Leaders
- Parents in Seattle community who take leadership roles to enhance and provide additional after school learning opportunities for children. Five parent-led Curiosity Clubs will be starting in April. Mentors would connect and support these groups through a combination of online and in-person mentoring.
