Technovation Challenge

A donation of $3,000 sponsors one school to participate in our 12 week Technovation Challenge program. The teams also need financial assistance to cover the cost of traveling to World Pitch Event in San Francisco, CA. A sponsorship of $3,500 covers travel cost of a U.S. team, and $15,000 is needed for an international team.

Family Science

Sponsor a 5-week Family Science Course in Los Angeles or New York City! Each course will provide 10 contact hours to 30 families (~90 participants).

$1000: train an engineer to teach a 10-hr Family Science course to 90 participants	$600: dinner for 30 families for 1 session
$500: cost of providing science project books to each participant	$300: cost of translation
$600: materials for all participants for 5 sessions	$100: materials for all participants in a session to do experiments and build models

We work very hard to make sure all operations are streamlined and cost-efficient. However implementing a successful hands-on science course on a challenging physics topic involves many support structures such as rigorous training programs for the engineers, food for the families, translation etc. These supports reduce the barrier to entry and make sustained learning possible. All materials are low-cost so that every participant can enjoy building and being an engineer.
