The Technovation Challenge is a mentorship program to foster innovation and diversity by giving high-school girls hands-on experience with engineering and high-tech entrepreneurship.

Core values of the Technovation Challenge:
Hands-on experience
- Give the students hands-on experience of working with a team to create and develop a new product or idea “from scratch”
- Provide mentors with an opportunity to volunteer in a setting that utilizes their deep technical expertise
Entrepreneurship
- Train the students to think of problems as opportunities that can be solved by the use of technology
- Provide mentors with the experience of launching a new venture
Making Connections
- Empower the students and mentors to work in teams of members with diverse interests and skill sets in a format that allows them to experience the challenges of real-world problem-solving and team-building
- Enable the mentors to network with like-minded professionals
- Create a platform for lasting mentor/mentee relationships
