The Office of Naval Research is Iridescent’s major sponsor for 2010. The ONR sponsored 40 Family Science Courses conducted by Iridescent in 40 different schools in the South Los Angeles area. ONR has also funded expansion of Iridescent’s programs to New York City and implementation and scale-up of the Technovation Challenge program in the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles and New York City.

We are also very excited to be awarded the Informal Science Educationgrant from the National Science Foundation to evaluate the longitudinal impact of the Family Science Program on children and their families over 5 years.
